Oakley Johns 10th in Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
Primed for a Mississippi crown jewel, Oakley Johns unloaded the Jeff Greer-owned No. C6 at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the 30th-annual Coors Light Fall Classic.
With a huge field of 51 Late Models on hand, Johns started on the pole of his $3,000-to-win preliminary feature and ran second to Ethan Dotson.
With the big money up for grabs on Saturday, Oakley transferred to the $20,000-to-win feature through a B-Main and he made up 11 spots in the 60-lap feature to land a Top-10 finish in 10th.
Johns also competed in the Street Stock division where he would record a fifth-place finish in the A-Main.
