10th-place finish in Deep Fried 75 with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Duck River
As the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series invaded Tennessee, Oakley Johns joined a 34-car field at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) for the Deep Fried 75 weekend.
On Friday evening, Johns locked himself into the 30-lap A-Main through qualifying and made up two spots to finish eighth in the $5,000-to-win show.
Transferring to Saturday's $20,000-to-win main event through a last chance showdown, Oakley started 20th in the 75-lap feature and made up 10 positions to score a Top-10 finish in 10th.
